Jazz Times Magazine said The Litchfield Jazz Festival was “among the
best of the best.” One fan called it, the “sweetest little festival in the
United States.” The Litchfield Jazz Festival celebrates its 10th Birthday
this year, and it’s not better than ever, it’s as good as it always has
been. From year one, we have presented legends and those who became
legends—from Ray Charles and Tito Puente to Diana Krall and Brad Mehldau. It’s a formula we continue to follow, this year proudly presenting two NEA Jazz Masters, McCoy Tyner and Dave Brubeck , the legendary Eartha Kitt and introducing two talented young vocalists to the jazz scene, Sonya Kitchell and Lindsey Muir.
Not only is it three days of fabulous music, but tasty food, art,
crafts and performances by the amazing students of the Litchfield Jazz Camp
and Greenhouse—The Litchfield Dance Camp.
