Not really a festival, but since this is where many of the La Villette concerts are held, and they have interesting jazz programming sprinkled through the year, I thought I'd post their program for next season:
2003
Jazz à La Villette festival: see thread by that name.
2004
Wednesday, Jan. 21: Wayne Shorter Quartet (Perez, Pattitucci, Blade)
Thursday, Jan. 22: Shorter/Hancock Duo
Friday, Jan. 23: Milton Nascimento (maybe Shorter will jam!)
Saturday, Jan. 24 and Sunday, Jan. 25: Orchestre National de Lyon directed by David Robertson + Wayne Shorter Quartet (bound to be "Alegria")
Sunday, March 7: Maybe Monday, a group consisting of Miya Masaoka, koto and electronics; Larry Ochs, saxophones; Fred Frith, guitar; with guests Lesli Dlaba, trumpet; Carla Kihlstedt, violin; and Etienne Bultingaire, "sound space."
Wednesday, May 19: Chick Corea New Trio (Corea, piano; Avishaï Cohen, bass; Jeff Ballard, drums)
Sunday, June 20: Big Band du Conservatoire de Paris directed by Bill Holman: arrangements of Thelonious Monk
Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27: Ahmad Jamal Trio (Jamal, piano; James Cammack, bass; Idris Muhammad, drums)
