I have left JC. If my deletions disrupt continuity, please accept my apology, but JC is no longer the place to be, as far as I am concerned.

We get it on radio here in DC. I listen to it on the way to work.
It's amazing the range of people who call in. You get some real morons and also the occasional intelligent reasonable person.
What I like is that the hosts try very hard to not give an opinion. They also push people to defend their statements no matter how absurd. Brian Lamb is especially good at that.

I would love to watch it--its a great show. Unfortunately, I am in the car at that hour, so I have to rely on radio and unlike Washington DC, Washington State isn't graced with C-Span radio. I need to get one of those satellite radio doohickies.

I *was* at one time a regular viewer of this fine show. I especially liked Brian Lamb and Steve Scully.
I was always amazed when it seemed that Brian would work most holidays, thus giving others the day off to spend with their families.
I found that I had to stop watching after the mostly idiotic calls got the better of me.
Caller: Hello? Hello? Am I on?
Lamb: Go ahead caller. You're on the air.
Caller: *silence*
Lamb: Hello Buffalo? You're on the air.
Caller: (piercing screech from TV set turned too loud)
Lamb: Caller, please lower the volume of your television.
Caller: (pause while making way to lower volume of TV)
Lamb: Go ahead caller.
Caller: Hello?
Lamb: (CLICK!) Hello Caller from Philadelphia, you're on the air.
----- I just couldn't take it anymore.

I watch it regularly. I think most of the callers are idiots though. A democrat will call in and rip on Bush and the Republicans. Then a Republican will call in and rip on the Democrats. Once in a great while they come across a caller who actually has a functioning brain.
I do enjoy the guests.

When Lionel (who I liked very much) had his radio show in NYC on WABC and he'd get the inevitable caller whose first words would be, "Can you hear me?", his response was, "Do I fear you? No, not at all."
