I haven't been spending much time here over the past month or so due to other projects but I have to check in and say that the new "look" is superb! Everything is larger and easier to read ( a real plus point when you're an old fart with a less-than-state-of-the-art computer and monitor.) The pages load way faster than the old board on my 56k dial-up connection too. I like it...

Glad ya like it!

I like it too, Mone, especially as I get used to it since I'm not generally "big" on changes. Must be my advanced age!! LOL!!

What I really love is that I can now easily get New Posts. It used to be a very "iffy" thing where it would tell me that there were none since my last posting when it wasn't true. Really like the consistency of this now and hope it continues.

One "problem" I'm having though is that in the Personal Messages, it is indicating that I have an "unread post" when I don't - as far as I can see. Is it possible for you to look into it when you get a chance? I certainly wouldn't want to "nut" on receiving/responding to a message!

Thanks muchly and y'all are to be commended!

You did yourself proud, my friend...looking good!

I would, however, like my all yellow smiles back...green and blue make the smile look kinda ill. Ya know? http://www.organissimo.org/forum/html/emoticons/whistling.gif

Credit where is credit is due. Moné did all of this - brilliantly I might add. In a few days we'll have some new skins for you all to choose from.

Oh I just discovered if you put your mouse over the latest post or is it latest thread you can get a summary of what the thread is all about. Tres cool.

Moné I am indebted to you and very grateful that you care so much.

With the utmost respect
Lois

PS Goody, on the right of where you type your message there are more smilies. But I like yours

Kudos!

It's absolutely amazing for me to think back to my first visit to Jazz Corner juxtaposed to this one.

Onward and upward.

Is there something wrong with the Search function? No matter what I enter, it comes back goose eggs.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. You guys are worth the effort.

But the extra cash doesn't hurt. :-)

Nice digs, Mone and Lois.

Haven't had a chance to scutinize yet :) , but, the looks have the earmarks of Vbulletin(whatever that is), lots of neat features, particularly the image/thumbnail feature. I'm liking it. Downloads much quicker with my dialup. That old board'd make you grow gray hairs waiting to load. :p

[ps I'll hafta downsize all my images to upload, sniff, because you allow only400 size and smaller, all mine are 500. Just something I'll have to live with, sniff.]
