Jazz Festival
The weeklong Clifford Brown Jazz Festival is held annually in Wilmington Delaware, and is the largest jazz festival of its kind along the east coast. Dates for the festival are Sunday June 13 to Sunday June 20. Featured artists include T.S. Monk, Ahmad Jamal, Hilton Ruiz/Dave Valentin Latin Jazz Project, and Regina Carter with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, performing for FREE in downtown Wilmingtons Rodney Square.
The Sunday, June 20th Clifford Brown Jazz Festival finale, at Winterthur, an American Country Estate just north of downtown Wilmington, will feature the Cassandra Wilson sextet and The Jazz At Lincoln Centers Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra conducted by Arturo OFarrill.
