another fascinating periodical is LMJ.

It covers a whole range of music, and has
had some wonderful articles recently by Eddie Prevost,
Scanner, David Toop, and Bob Ostertag.

It's a little pricey, but it comes with cds and on-line access
to previous issues.

I think there may be some free articles available for perusal.

If edition 11 is still around, it is an intriguing survey of 60s British Improv and electronic music with a CD curated by David Toop.

I think it's still Leonardo's policy to put out a music-oriented issue every year or so. Otherwise it largely deals with the intersection between art and science. There was a pretty fine disc in the mid 90's devoted to gamelan and gamelan-influenced western music. I've picked up the magazine off and on since around 1974 (subscribed sometimes--pretty pricey--when I found it on newsstands otherwsie); it's almost always an intriguing read.
