Abbie Hoffman is the last person (medium setting) I've outlived. Harry Nilsson is next.

On the low setting, I'm about to outlive Willi Unsoeld. I know I won't go out the way he did, buried under an avalanche at Mt. Rainier.

The youngest to die on the list was Ritchie Valens, who was 17 years and 9 months old when he perished in a plane crash.

If you make it 4 more days, you will outlive Divine.

You've outlived John Lennon by 807 days.
If you make it 63 more days, you will outlive Robert Kennedy.

Hey it's Candle in the Wind time for me. Goodbye English Rose; I'm coming for you, Norma Jean:

You've outlived Princess Diana by 3 days.

If you make it 2 more days, you will outlive Marilyn Monroe.

I outlived Jesus a while ago, too. No big deal.

    8 more days J.D. Tippit
24 more Martin Luther King, Jr.
    60 more Che Guevara

This is silly and morbid all rolled into one.

Watch out Vitas Gerulaitis - 77 more days and I'm ahead of you! 85 days, and older than John Lennon was. And at this point, I'm 65 days older than Che Guevera will ever be.

I was looking for this thread. Remembered it as a most interesting, yet macabre

Worked my way past Inger Stevens and Johnny Horton, made it at least five days past Michael Rabin.

62 days to SRV, 70 days to Kevin Peter Hall (a.k.a., the man behind the Predator mask, and Harry from "Harry and the Hendersons"), 89 days from Jonathan Larson (who wrote "Rent") and 97 days from Ol' Dirty Bastard.

I could deal with passing Jesus, but ODB? Sigh.

I've shot past Bruce Lee, Cass Elliott and Karen Carpenter in the past year. I'll pass Belushi as long as I make it to Feb 1st or so. Fingers crossed.

Also on my "upcoming" list are three people often mistaken for each other: Chris Farley, David Koresh and Yuri Gagarin.

    Ali G,
I understand how Gagarin and Farley could be mistaken for each other, but Koresh and Farley?? Koresh played a mean guitar, Farley couldn't play a lick.

I've only got 49 days to pass Lester Young, which is depressing. Not because I'm so old but because Pres was so young!
