Go figure
KSJS was the first university in the USA to stream on the www
In the last few years there have been issues galore regarding royalties and fees, which forced decisions as whether to continue this practice or not. Many came back to stream....KSJS decided not to, the leading reason being IF there were to be retro fees due, there would be no $$ pay if ordred to do so.
Anyway......if you go to www.ksjs.org select 'listen' we're streaming again, despite the window that opens up that says otherwise. It takes a couple of seconds for the sound to come up.
We'll see how long this lasts.....the main thing is that I've always loved the notion that the musicians family, friends, & fans can tune in to add to the audience beyond our loyal Bay Area radio listeners
edit: unfortunately this is hit-or-miss thing, and will be sporadic...turned on and off from time to time....can't won't get into the reasons here

Here we go again....KSJS back to streaming at www.ksjs.org
After a cumbersome record keeping system put into place, they flipped the switch once again. Since we play a lot of indie music which might not be picked up electronically. It's a little tedious to report during a show, but we're used to it by now.
My show airs 6-10am Pacific Time....the final hour is dedicated to a single guest who usually has a new or recent CD on the KSJS play list most weeks
