A local radio station that plays jazz is considering a format change to "contemporary jazz". Is this the same as "smooth jazz"?

By the way, it took a while for me to find this thread. What's the easiest way to do this? Thanks.

    Go nuts, kid!
Btw, to find stuff - use Search, then change the option to 'thread title' and then use the most specific word/term you can recall as being in the thread title. E.g. to find this thread a search for 'smooth jazz' would probably work just fine.
Q: 'How do you start free improvising?'
A: 'Well I usually start on D as a matter of fact'

"I wandered alone in the desert and cried "Oh Lord! Oh Lord! What hast thou done, lately?"

"Thought is not a saffron-robed monk pissing in the snow"

"Bitterness slowly crept into the marriage and by the time Lovborg was six years old his parents exchanged gunfire daily"
