Not me; I found him. (I've already forgotten his name, but now I know just where to look to get it again.) At least you've revealed his gender.

Isn't the idea to then mention who....and then follow-up with your own question?

I Googled the answer, so I'm ineligible. But I'll stop kibitzing.

People don't always follow up with their own question.

If you believe the rumors about Jackie Wilson's manager.....all four also died mysteriously.

    Okay, another hint.

He was the lead singer on the "Teen Ange" at Woodstock.

His name is similar to someone who is known for hair transplants.

    Another clue:

There will be a Presidential debate @ the University he teaches. It was also @ this University that Obama and McCain had their last debate.

That is correct--although around the time of Magical Mystery Tour, Paul switched from Hofner to...well, the same brand as John's iconic guitar. George used them too. And Ringo's drums never changed...should I give first letters as hints? I thought everyone knew this stuff.

Extra bonus points if anyone can tell me the brand of Dave Clark's drums.

Rogers (could be Royers -- I'm looking at a picture in the notes to my compilation)

John and George used Gretsch; Ringo Ludwig.

The Andrews Sisters had a #1 hit with 'Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree'.

From which well-known 19th century parlor song was the melody stolen?

I just learned this today, from the liner notes to a great old album of western swing. It's obvious once it's pointed out, although I've known both songs all my life and never noticed it before.

And the answer appears in the current, Part Four, of this thread, where the recent action has occurred (hint hint)
