Brian Eno. Wait, I'm confusing the tongue with the MS Windows logon "jingle."

Nobody's got it yet, and to be honest, I don't think that anybody will come up with it. But I'll let Runawayjazz give any hints that he wants to give. I just hope that he doesn't think it was Andy Warhol.

I looked it up and wasn't familiar with the name. But he asked it at the end of the work day Eastern time today, so give people time. We're not on Goodspeak time...

Oh, I'm not going to reveal it unless the questioner, Runawayjazz, "calls on me."

Rita,
The ball's in your court... whenever you deem it appropriate, shout it from the heavens.
In the meantime... which television show has featured both Mick Fleetwood and Iggy Pop?

A British designer named John Pasche created the tongue logo for the Rolling Stones. The logo was first reproduced on Sticky Fingers; according to Wikipedia, the album cover itself was conceived by Andy Warhol, photographed by Billy Name, and designed by Craig Braun.

I'm guessing you mean as actors, otherwise I'd have guessed Later with Jools Holland.

Were Iggy and Mick Fleetwood on Square Pegs? I seem to vaguely remember that.

Probably a flawed memory as a result of too many years of gerbil escapades.
Iggy Pop and Mick Fleetwood were on Star Trek. Here's a softie...
What man's name is mentioned in the top 40 hit "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" by the supergroup Looking Glass?

I've karaoke-ed the song maybe a dozen times. (There, I got that off my chest. I feel relieved. But there is an explanation*). Unless it's a trick question, the answer is that no man's name is mentioned. There's a few mentions of a "sailor".
*I used to occasionally sing with 2 outstanding black chick singers who had an act of their own, called "R&R" (their names are Roseanne and Regina). They did killer harmonies. By the time I would sing the first verse of Brandy, they would have already brought down the house with the introductory "doo doo, doo doo dop, doo doo, doo doo" You'd sing Brandy too under such conditions.

Maybe it's not a good question. You won't find the man's name in the written lyrics. The band says the name "Monty" very faintly. Here's a better question:
Who is the only female credited with vocals on Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'?

They must have been saying Monte (with an e). I'm fairly certain that our Monte was the sailor that the sea stole from Brandy, a fine girl.

Name 2 bands that were named after albums that they performed on. In other words, the artists did not have the band names at the time of the albums they were named for.

I can name two that weren't:
The Band and Chicago.
I'll have to think about the ones that might have been.

Not a rock band, but Jewels and Binoculars would presumably count.

I assume you are correct, but that is not who I had in mind.
To score points, you have to not only be correct, you have to name the two I had in mind.*
You get extra points if either of the two I had in mind is not correct. (I think Pete might have been going for double extra points)
*I'm joking.

Yep. Nice.
The other one I'm thinking of was basically the same era; a little later.

That one's been overlooked so far. I know the answer because I ran across it in a recent search for something else.

Which country's national orchestra is larger than its national army?
For whom did Dolly Parton pen the song "I Will Always Love You"?
