Curated by CJBS artistic director Ken Pickering and bassist Torsten Müller, this three night-session is a veritable feast for those with an appetite for new and adventurous sounds. Time Flies (inspired by Derek Bailey's Company Week and Gunter Christmann's Vario projects) serves as a summit meeting for some of the most creative improvisers from Canada and around the world.

This year's lineup includes saxophonist Evan Parker (UK), French Horn/electronics player Hild Sofie Tafjord (Norway), guitarist Bernard Falaise (Montreal), trumpeter Peter Evans (New York City), violinist Mary Oliver (Netherlands), drummer Dylan van der Schyff (Vancouver), clarinetist François Houle (Vancouver), bassist Torsten Müller (Vancouver).

Please note: Time Flies meets VCMI on February 6 @ 8 PM at VCC. This is a FREE performance.
Alums of the Vancouver Creative Music Institute (VCMI) will perform with Time Flies artists at the Vancouver Community College, King Edward Campus (1155 East Broadway in Vancouver).
