The pictures we have of us with Rodrigo have been scaled down by the photographers, so they are not useful for the press in Poland, or for posters, so I put us together from two different shots, one in Philly (YAE) and one in Lisbon (Rodrigo). This is one of the "real" ones, however:

Hey Ron, and others interested...I believe the article will be translated in the next week or so by one of our tour coordinators, so I will post that as soon as it arrives here!

We are just now back home (as of last night) and I am quite the fuzzy-head. I'll post a journal of sorts soon...probably in installments.

Hey, while you were gone, I made music in a bateria during a Latin percussion master workshop with this (among other instruments) ... a former Volvo hubcap, now a reco-reco. It sounds very hip, though!

We're glad to be back, in fact, we have the wrap up concert for this Polish tour tonight at Mountain View College in Dallas...7 pm, and it's free!

No, my friend, percussionist/clinician Jeff Busch from Seattle, made it. I'm on the lookout for a vintage Saab hubcap to make one, though.

In addition to being able to scratch the two springs, Jeff notched the rim of the hubcap for about 8", so there was a great variety of sonic possibilities.

You can see the chrome-plated ¼" scratching rod with a black rubber handle on the music stand in the left photo.

Thanks, jm...there is a possibility that we may be in NY, or at least the East Coast in mid-June, but we don't really know yet.

We did our last show of the tour - a Coming Home concert of sorts - at Mountain View College in Dallas last night. We had an audience of about 100, and they listened intently to our music.
