Humphrey Lyttelton - writers & suggestion required.

I am a publisher of books, and am proposing to publish a book about the late
trumpeter Humphrey Lyttelton who died recently aged 86. Although it may
sound a bit premature to do this, I don't expect the book to actually be
published until December 2008/January2009 and with this in mind I am looking
for suitable contributors who could be commission to write a chapter of
around 10,000 words for the proposed book.

I am really looking for an American perspective on the trumpeter, and anyone
who knew him as a child or in his early twenties would also be helpful.
Hints and suggestions would be interesting too as I am in the early stage of
    researching this book.

I propose to contract those who are commissioned professionally and so that
there is no problems affecting fees etc., I am prepared to pay fees in full
in advance so long as a third party can hold the funds until the commission
has been duly completed. I would also want a condition in any contract to
the effect that writer will take part in promoting the publication should
    the he/she be asked.

I'd be grateful for any information you can supply, and what you may do to
help promote this book in advance of publication when the time comes. I
believe this publication will attract the attention of many, and to that end
advanced orders can be catered for and arranged.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,

    Donald Knox-Richards.
    Director.

Warning: Before anyone replies to Mr Knox-Richards they should be aware that the BBC consumer affairs programme Watchdog recently exposed him as a fraud merchant who aims to profit from the death of much-loved public figures. He published books on John Peel and John Thaw (the Inspector Morse actor) with indecent haste after their death: neither volume was authorised and caused huge upset to their families.

The programme interviewed writers who had contributed lengthy chapters to Mr Knox-Richard's for which they had not been paid.

Don't be fooled and read Humph's own books instead. And what an insult to his memory.
