I don't feel like getting into a pissing contest over this, but if you think Limbaugh is as concerned with facts as Olberman, you should get a grip.

I'm done defending him, though, as I no longer watch his program or any like it.

I will say again, anyone who repeatedly invokes Andrea Mitchell as a left wing journalist is a fool.

She is married to Alan Greenspan, an unthinking martinet of Ayn Rand.

Limbaugh, along with his fanboys here -- Wozniak, Monte and Reynolds --are plain and simple proto fascists, as defined by Mussolini, or Republican believers in corporatocracy.

That said, I don't wish Limbaugh any ill will -- there are plenty more vile people willing to take his place, and armies of dim wits who are willing to lap up his hateful nonsense.

This past decade has seen the virtual demise of the middle class because of the ascendancy of right wing politics. More people are in poverty now. more people go hungry and more people die of lack of health care -- all thanks to the kind of politics that Limbaugh espouses.

Those are the facts, the same facts that Limbaugh and his lovers all deny, just like they deny evolution, climate change, etc.

Reynolds -- who has come on here repeatedly to dispute scientific fact as to the dangers of PVC production -- is clearly immune to reality

He only believes in the so called *facts* that conform to his warped view of reality.

He is as open to *facts* as Philip Morris is open to the dangers of cigarette smoking.

3,000 people die in NYC on 9/11, and the American people will spend trillions of dollars in foolish and misbegotten wars in places like Iraq. Based on the *facts* of WMD.

Yet they won't lift a finger to help the 45,000 Americans who die each year for lack of health care.

They will defend Exxon's right to drill in Iraq. But won't defend the Americans who die for lack of health care,or the thousands who are falling into poverty owing to Wall Street provoked recession and widespread unemployment.

If that isn't "hate" I don't know what is.

I love when the term "progressive" is used for left wing idealogue - supporter of the cause

amazing that you expect people to believe that all people who disagree with you are not concerned with equal opportunity for all - I *never* said I was in agreement with what Rush Limbaugh said or says - you assume it because I am not in agreement with the failed policies *supposedly* geared to help the less fortunate.

I would love someone to come on here talking about the dangers of iron pipe production and the waste and energy to manufacture it compared to PVC - funny how I am disputing scientific facts when the people posting silly little videos no nothing of the process and the whole picture

It will never happen because it is in conflict with the agenda - the agenda is to march in lock-step to ban what is supposedly bad for the environment - the hell with reality.

"Liberal", is a non-descriptive term that the right turned into a dirty word. I prefer to use "progressive" and will use it more often now that I know it amuses you.

I get the feeling that if this meant something, it would be very profound.

If you are dissing the Obama administration, you would realize that it is a better government than you deserve if your politics weren't the product of hate spewing morons appealing to your lowest instincts.

Aim before you shoot. Your commentary is bordering on stupid partisanship which has gotten us where we are are proves again my statement. We have had failed leadership for the past 48 years culminating in what was possibly the worst administration in the short happy history of the USA. It is too early to tell what effect the present administration can possibly have on the situation or on history in general.Your final statement isn't my politics it's yours and the politics of the 20%ers on each side of the aisle. You obviously didn't get what I was talking about. So it is a case of had you been silent you might have been thought the fool but by opening your mouth you proved it beyond all doubt. My commentary here is already far more than you deserve.

"More of the same" of what? The right, and particularly the "free" market corporate right, have had a stranglehold on this country since at least 1980. And as recent events clearly show, continue to have one today.

And it is equally amazing to me that people like you are so rigid that you cannot allow yourself to believe that there is another side to any issue.

You blame and do not take responsibility.

You assign blame yet do not understand what your right-wing bigots do to destroy America.

Your way is morally corrupt and ethically bankrupt.

Well, this is certainly the pot calling the kettle black. You are the laughing stock of this forum for the very rigidity you condemn, namely your inability to see anything wrong with the Democratic party, or any nuance in any political issue for that matter. For you it's black and white: Democrats good, Republicans bad.

I may not agree with my friend Steve's politics on all fronts, but he has no reason to be ashamed of his viewpoints.

This holier-than-thou attitude is, frankly, one of the least appealing aspects of the left. In your case it's flat-out embarrassing.

I should be ashamed that I believe in some principles - most of you here disagree with them so therefore I am rigid and unable to look at other viewpoints - unlike all the people here who have viewpoints that are different than mine.

of course we know the left is open-minded, progressive, tolerant, etc.

except when it comes to views from the right of their own.

so you simply imply that I am bigot
