Props to our own Doctor Dave and his band. I have the CD on my mp3 player. Today while working out I had it set on random play. Just by chance, 2 Elvet Velvis songs played (not in a row). Both times I said to myself "This is good. Who is This?"

Blu & Madlib - UCLA (I am not posting the cover. For those wanting to open Pandora's box....wait until you're not using a work related computer. The girl in the picture is Carol Nakamura. Once again see my warning about using a work computer. Thus ends my public service announcement. haha)

Crass - The Stations of the Crass

You would surprised how few in the UK my age or younger have heard of Crass.

I may have brought this up before but this British DJ Chris Read is ridiculously talented. He's done a whole chronology of Hip Hop. Here's 1992.

If you like The Ex....you're going to like Crass. They're a really pissed off version of The Ex....and I do mean really pissed off.

You can't go wrong with any of these.

Finishing up a paper while listening to the ultimate Springsteen bootleg (at least in my mind.) at the Roxy in 1978....with my parents in attendance.

Both got in on fake ID's and $50 on the side. They were 15 & 14 at the time. I think that "Grant" had everything to do with it. haha

Their first, and quite 'Kraut-rocky'. Pretty damn good, and not at all what I was expecting, going by their later work.

Big Monolake fan and I've been remiss in catching up with this one. Excellent stuff as always - highly recommended.
