I wish the phone companies would stop being so @#$)*$& manipulative.

You know, phone company, you've had my business for how many years now? From before 2 year contracts. From before the advent of the portable phone. For, well, decades. I have been faithful, so...have a little faith in me! I like you, but I don't want to marry you. Even if it's just for 2 years and I get a free coolio phone. I just want to keep it month-to-month. Is that so hard to understand? I'll take care of the hardware (will you let me choose whatever I want?). I just want to keep this "open." That works best for me.
