    Tony Marsh, R.I.P.

    Just found out Tony Marsh died not long after I saw him with Roscoe Mitchell.

    Café Oto is having a tribute performance on May 22nd. He was scheduled to perform that night.

    Just heard about his passing as well. R.I.P. Tony. Great sessions over the years with Paul Dunmall, a nice trio with flutist Neil Metcalfe and bassist Nick Stephens on Loose Torque, and thanks to Martin Davidson, two recordings under his leadership for Psi.
