So I'm listening to Marilyn Crispell/ David Rothenberg's ECM album One Dark Night I Left My Silent House, realizing that this is one of those albums I like a LOT more on second listen

Part of my disappointment the first time I listened was realizing that this was not a Crispell/ NED Rothenberg record

But DavidR sounds interesting in his own right, if less fiery and virtuosic
And further digging (the liner notes tell nothing) reveals that he has done extensive work in interspecies music, a topic I play with in a fiction project I'm working on
