John Abercrombie--Within a Song

I just saw that this record is coming out on July 31. It sounds pretty cool to me, with a lineup of Joe Lovano, Drew Gress, and Joey Baron--and John going back to his roots by exploring Miles, Trane, Evans, Rollins, Ornette, etc. I'd like to hear samples, but none are available yet at Amazon.

The price is an insane $32. I don't know what's up with that. Maybe a DVD comes with it.

I know nothing about the pricing, but I'll be very interested to follow this one, and suspect that the CD will not ultimately sell for $32.
