Fabulous stuff!!
Great stuff @ Smalls indeed!
And since you posted this now, I don't have to.
What do you think of "Bean" Clemmons with Stacy Dillard in the midnight show?
The guy's wonderful, I think!
That midnight group is basically the one from Dillard's "Good and Bad Memories," a gem of a disc.
Cheers,
Rob

I'm enjoying it, even as I type. He gets a bit too "busy" for me at times, but ...
From New York City to Anchorage, Alaska via the intertubes. Absolutely amazing.
I listen to Smalls stream just about every evening.

Me, too.
As I was saying b4, I'm on that site more than I am this one; sign of the times, I guess.
The archive is a true treasure trove of material.
Can't get that Wallace Roney one to work, though. Still, it's freakin' awesome.
I fear that more clubs will do what Smalls is doing and it might be a bit of an overload.
I've had some overlap with them and J@LC which I've not always liked, but I can usually roll their shows back pretty easily.
Cheers,
Rob

Ah! Mal Waldron. Just found an old LP he did with Eric Dolphy and co. yesterday. Good stuff. Today I'm totally digging the new Bill Frisell "Big Sur". Very nice.
