I really would like to hear that band live one day. Unfortunately (or possibly fortunately) I am going to have to miss this date as I will be on my way back from a family cruise to Bermuda.

a reminder for those who don't know that one of the great unrecorded bands is again playing @ Cornelia Street.....

I be there in the front as among other things there is *nothing* like being a few feet from the bell of the alto saxophone of Mr. Darius Jones...

at Cornelia Street it as close up as possible and with the big sound of Jones and the wild eccentric guitar of Seabrook, it was quite an experience - her's hoping they are as good tomorrow night.

Sitting at Detmold, Germany, some good things are out of space, I mean , unreachable. But i hope this is the right place to recommend 'UPCOMING HURRICANE' , a very fine CD with Gerald Cleaver, Simon Nabatov and Pascal Niggenkemper. YOU all should really hear this!

Yes, that's a nice one; I'm a big fan of Nabatov.

I caught Black Host at the Stone in January. At the show Gerald mentioned that the band has a recording coming out soon on an independent label. Soemthing to look for of you like this band.
