    Please discuss among yourselves.

I myslelf have no clue in the genre. But I thiink Kirk Franklin is funky as hell. don't know if he has anything new in 12.

Lecrae and Trip Lee. Fair warning: these guys are Evangelical and can be a bit edgy and in-your-face with their faith. Enjoy!

Evidently in recent weeks an act called Toby Mac has been top of the American pop charts and top of the Christian charts. I haven't heard his stuff (though I understand he does a few numbers with the aforementioned Kirk Franklin), and I am shy about listening to it because the notion of a 43 year old white rapper from Virginia just makes me pound my head at the thought of the chart-topping career that was never mine. Ah well. I love good faith-infused music. Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Awolnation, etc.

Classic Gospel quartets for me. I'm an old-time child of god.

You're talking about the classics. i've also come to dig among the more contemporary stuff gospel that seems to be quite popular in various African musics.

I enjoyed that - thanks Uli. The only African gospel I'm vaguely aware of is Charles Mombaya, although I guess Ladysmith Black Mambazo does it too sometimes.
