Pete LaRoca - Tribute concert

Dear Jazz musicians and fans,

I have the sad task of informing the Jazz community that Pete (LaRoca) Sims is gravely ill at Kateri Residence on the Upper West Side. He is suffering from advanced lung cancer.

The family is organizing a Tribute Concert on his behalf, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 29th 8 pm at St. Peter's Church, 54th & Lexington Ave. If you are interested in playing at the event, kindly contact:
