Prior to today's performance of Bach's B-Minor Mass at the Green Music Center http://gmc.sonoma.edu/, the Executive Director of the Santa Rosa Symphony came out to introduce the work. He said he felt obligated to also say something about yesterday's tragedy in Connecticut, but didn't know what to say until he came across this:

“This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before.”
