    Patty Andrews, R.I.P.

The last of the Andrews Sisters has died. 94-years is a hell of a run.

Obviously, way before even my Pops' time....but you can't be in a family with so many who served not have heard of them. There is also their appearance with Abbott & Costello's Buck Privates.

    Be well, Ms. Andrews.

Your father wasn't alive during WWII? The Andrews Sisters were a featured act well into the 50's. I recall seeing them on TV many times, and we didn't get a tv until I was in 8th grade.

My grandfather's were born during, or after WWII. They didn't serve until Vietnam. It was their father's, uncles and aunts who served during WWII.

I am only in my 20's.

In other words, what BT is saying is, at 64 years of age, I'm old enough to be his grandfather. And of course, he's correct in that observation.

You still have 4 and 6 years to get to their age. Now, my remaining Great-Uncles on the other hand.
