Jazzfiend,
I think that if you drop an email to Jan at ayler@ayler.com, he'll do that for you. He's taking pre-orders right now, for a late may release.
And ask to be on his mailing list. There's regularly good news coming through!

Hey, I can vouch for this! With Gayle in exhuberant form, it's one of my strongest live jazz experiences so far this year, and I'm sure Ayler Rec have once again made an excellent job of translating the music to disc (hope you toned down those drums, Jan? ). Pre-ordering it myself today.

I'm very happy with this recording and I keep spinning it and for me this is certainly the most enjoyable of all Gayle recordings I have.
It's always tricky to make the mixing of the bass and drums, especially the bass drum, at Glenn Miller Café but I'm happy this time. One can clearly follow the bass the whole time without disturbing leakage from the bass drum.
Hope you'll enjoy it, Jan!

As far as upcoming releases go, I can't wait to hear the next FME album. I saw the band last night, and Ken Vandermark said it would include the amazing Montreal show they gave last september (?).

Felix,
I hope you're right about him being on vacation. I'm surprised that you and I are the only ones who on this board who seems to care either way.

HOLY GRAIL ALERT:
John Dankworth's label Qnote is looking to issue Kenny Wheeler's "Windmill Tilter" on CD sometime early next year. I'd be more jacked if I hadn't downloaded it ten minutes prior.

New Release I am looking forward to...
Pre-ordered a new release by John Hicks "Sweet Love of Mine"
Heard sound bytes of it at amazon.com and although I like most of the songs, the "I Remember Clifford" rendition sounds like the soloist is trying to circumvent an asthma attack.
