My mother's chocolate chip cookies, warm out of the oven with a big glass of milk.

Excuse me while I wipe a tear away.

Mom was *really* strict wrt. eating junk food, but I did manage to develop a love of:

    Nacho Cheese Doritos
    BBQ Fritos
Sour Cream and Onion potato chips
Soft pretzels (come to think of it, any pretzels, all of which I love to this day)
    Anything chocolate

One of my alltime faves (thanks Dad for introducing this to me), and something my wife and I love (and so I'm recommending it to y'all): Peach Ice Cream and Ginger Ale float. A taste made in heaven.

Ooh! That sounds great! When I was growing up, my dad always used to make a Chocolate Ice Cream and Orange Nehi float. Sounds gross, but it's really quite good.

I guess I was peculiar, but for me nothing compared to a plastic sandwich bag filled with Cheerios. I would stuff my whole face with dry Cheerios--forget milk--and just keep them in my maw until they were liquified. 'Course, I did the same thing with communion wafers. No, I don't mean I crammed hundreds of eucharists down my throat. Just the one. But I wouldn't chew it, I would let it dissolve. If I still had it in my mouth when I got in the car after church then I had really accomplished something. I recall that one Sunday at CCD (Catholic Sunday school), I was taught that this was somehow a sin. The body of Christ should be chewed and never played with. Well hell. I might even be misremembering that lesson. It might not be a sin, I might not have been taught that. I might not be held accountable for that at the End of Days. Oh, and Sweet Tarts. Yum! Loved the giant ones, too. Grape was my fave, then cherry, then lemon.

This thread is reminding me of how much fun I had as a kid. Didn't worry about anything, not weight, cancer, cholesterol, fat, and how bad everything was for you. You just ate what ever the hell you wanted. Thanks, Sumo............

Neither. Chocolate cone with sprinkles, or the occasional flying saucer.
