Do you have a CD freezer?

I found they sound fresher frozen. As opposed to vinyl, which has to breathe a little.

well some folks put batteries in the freezer to keep fresher and longer. i guess that it wouldn't hurt to put a few CDs in there also.

or that green weed is really emerald green and u are imagining the whole thing.

keep your CDs out of the microwave and for godsakes don't put them in the stove.

He'll correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my guesstimate that (thelil) is asking for comments regarding a process which is the antithesis of a CD "burner", a current topic on Jazz Corner. Am I close, Steve?

If FLW had had a cd freezer it would have made his music making a lot more comfortable.

On the other hand, a cd freezer would have been of less help to these guys:

    01 >> BLUE
Terje Isungset > ice percussion. Iro Haarla > ice harp. Arve Henriksen > ice trumpet. Lena Willemark > voice.

    02 >> FROZEN
Terje Isungset > ice percussion. Iro Haarla > ice harp. Arve Henriksen > ice trumpet, iceophone. Hilmar Jensson > electronics. Skuli Sverrisson > electronics.

    03 >> ICEMAN IS
Terje Isungset > ice percussion. Arve Henriksen > voice, iceophone.

    04 >> GREEN
Terje Isungset > ice percussion, breathing. Arve Henriksen > ice trumpet. Iro Haarla > ice harp. Hilmar Jensson > electronics. Skuli Sverrisson > electronics.

    05 > SPRING
Terje Isungset > ice percussion. Arve Henriksen > ice trumpet. Lena Willemark > voice.

    06 >> WATER
Terje Isungset > ice percussion. Lena Willemark > voice. Palle Mikkelborg > trumpet.

    07 >> IN GLACIER
Terje Isungset > ice percussion. Arve Henriksen > iceophone, ice horn. Iro Haarla > ice harp.

    08 >> DEEP
Terje Isungset > ice percussion. Palle Mikkelborg > trumpet. Lena Willemark > voice.

    09 >> WHALE WISDOM
Terje Isungset > ice percussion. Arve Henriksen > ice trumpet, voice.

Sure Tere Isungset sounds *pretty*. But has he done ANYTHING that hasn't ALREADY BEEN DONE on ice percussion? What's the *freexzing* point?

The freezing point was 15 below zero on the ice sessions and your cd freezer would possibly make the intstruments melt. IŽd imagine that your cd freezer rather would be an easy way to produce frozen music, though less exiting than FLW's.

Re Isungset: He's an avant garde stone drummer. He should stick to that.
