John Cage - Complete Piano Music
Mozart - Complete Piano Sonatas, (Mitsuko Uchida)
- and they rated these as his lesser works...
Sheesh!

I'd forgotten how much I liked these guys. Also forgot that they did Let's Work Together (in addition to On The Road Again and Goin' Up Country) and Fried Hockey Boogie (which got a lot of fm airplay). Saw them probably a half-dozen times back then. Something about their sound evokes the feel of the insides of The Fillmore and The Avalon more than anybody else, even the local groups I saw more often than them.

Oh, and Raga Basant Mukhari - Ali Akbar Khan
Analord I - Aphex Twin
Cyclo - Alva Noto
Am currently listening through the 74 Gbs on my Ipod (80GB after OS is deducted) alphabetically, one album by an artist, and on to the next, round and round the alphabet til there's none left, which'll be a good long ways away from now. it's the only way to listen to all the new stuf i've acquired in recent months.

Wilco, The Album. It's really taking root.
Very nice package when you get the gatefold, old-style with lyric insert LP: A copy of the CD is included.

About five spins, Steve. I've got a real soft spot for Tweedy, though.

It took me about 2, maybe 3 listens. Nothing mind blowing but good straight-forward Wilco. Nothing wrong with that.
