(Edit: The "Nude Ants" band at the Vanguard,)

I'd line up. Press it on vinyl, too.

Local thrift/charity had its annual LP sale (still ongoing, actually) and laid hands on a mint "Eyes of the Heart" yesterday, along with Towner-Burton's "Matchbook."

Ya, it was a 5-day residency I believe.

I like the fact that ECM has been increasing the number of live recordings of late, but I would really like to see a series of archival recordings from the ECM over the past 40 years. (there's a lot that can be obtained "unofficially" of course, but of varying recording quality).

A downloadable series of such concerts would be great - wouldn't need to be a physical product.

Yowza! 5 days m'man! Imagine a complete residency set, like the Jarrett Blue Note, or Miles Plugged Nickel!
I'm salivating hungrily at the mere thought of all those ECM archival recordings - I checked out a Jarrett sessionography, and there's a shedload of gigs the European Quartet did.
How's about some Dave Holland stuff from the 80s? He had some really cookin' bands.
Maybe post these questions on the Ask ECM thread huh? Who knows, they might get heard.

This has been constantly playing on my system for the last few weeks. I really think it is a very strong album and a great new direction for Stanko. I will get to see this new band live on Monday evening and really looking forward to it.

This has just arrived on the doormat. I have always been a big fan of Paolo Fresu and it is great to see him getting more exposure on ECM. I really like the simplicity and beauty of this album. Very mellow and acoustic - music that suits my mood.

Testament (Keith Jarrett) and Dresden (Jan Garbarek Group).
In my opinion the two best albums of the year. Testament by Keith Jarrett qualify as one of the greatest musicians alive, Dresden for being a remarkable initiation of Garbarek's music.

Get yourself over to the Bley vs Jarrett poll m'man, and put your vote in quick! I second the emotion re Testament - it's truly a remarkable, wonderful album. I've been hearing so much about Dresden lately that I'm seriously thinking about picking it up, although I much prefer Garbarek's early stuff like Afric Pepperbird, Esoteric Circle and Sart.
