This one is probably a 4-5. Some in here may have never heard of him. There is a hidden hint.

It's the two saxophonists here that a handful of minions should be able to pick out.

I recognize that posture, with the feet pointing up. Joe Maneri? Saw him last summer at Tonic.

Yeah, Bob, so did I--this is H&B from the old board--the disabling of the signature function has prevented me from informing folks of that with every post. There's a major hint for the identity of the alto player if you right-click on the image and go to "properties," so don't do that. The answer may surprise a good many people...

Hah.. Hey Chris.. Didn't even make the connection it was you as I didn't know your last name. Yo all.. I sat next to H&B at the Maneri Tonic show. Bizarre. I thought you were back in Brooklyn?

First one: Andy Kirk. Mary Lou was the lady who swung his band.

Difficulty 5, except for maybe 2 or 3 people on the board.

Yup, the theme should be a big hint for the last two. You're beating Dennis out for that kiss from Deep.

brief digression--note to kc bob

kc bob--just a thought, offered with all respect:

Are your images all from the Internet?

If so, why not

--skip saving them to your hard drive, and

--post them using the IMG function instead of the attachment function? That's just as easy, if not easier.

Why? Because, as we've learned elsewhere on the board, attachments cost Lois money, but "IMGs" don't--and you're posting a lot of pictures.

If they're from the web you have to be careful that the URL does not include the performer's name, or folks could cheat by right clicking and checking properties.
