why do old threads suddenly reappear?
Why do old thread suddenly reappear with no new comments?? It is kinda creepy. The recent example is the reappearance of the "rate Weather Sky" thread. The last post was on Dec. 1st.
Occasionally I see this happen and cannot find an edit or new post to explain the reason.

What Sergio said.
Whenever somebody votes in a poll, that thread gets bumped.

Why do old threadS reappear?
I dunno.
I blame it on trolls who announce their Ignore List victims.
I could be wrong, of course.
