Waldron / Lacy LP Journey Without End to be aired

I have the Mal Waldron/Steve Lacy LP, "Journey Without End" from RCA Victor Japan 1971 in my possession, compliments of Bob Setlik from Car City Records and the radio show 'Delusions and Furies" that we share Sundays on WHFR-FM.

I'll be playing it, let's say around 8:30pm EDT, on my "Spirits Rejoice" radio program on WHFR:

I'll likely get to another Clifford Thornton track from "The panther and the Lash". I played the piece with Thornton on shenai on Sunday. Perhaps more Weston/Edwards/Sanders, Braxton/Milo Fine, ??????

Turn it on, folks: http://whfr.fm/

This is an extremely rare recorded duo of Mal n' Lacy starting right now.

Anybody hear it? I didn't mention that it was a quartet earlier, sorry Michael. Mal and Steve with Kent Carter on bass and Noel McGhee on drums.

Carter sounded huge. . .that long 'funky' vamp track was great, undeniably very early 70s vintage Mal.

I'll hold onto it and play side two next week, about the same time. Side one was comprised of two Waldron pieces, side two is three Lacy pieces.
