Soundtrack by Yells At Eels
We want to let our JC colleagues know that Dennis Gonzalez Yells At Eels is providing music for a short film to be placed in several of the international independent film festivals (Sundance and Tribeca being two best-known) this coming summer. Two songs from Pictogram,"Trinity" and "Umbilical Pendulum", are in the film by Lisa Tervo, "A Beautifully Controlled Study of Provincial Melancholy."
The two actors in the film are from Tucson: Mahon Brown, who plays Miles, and Kevin Lucero Less, who plays John. Lucero Less has also gained some
recognition for his paintings and was in the winter edition of the national magazine, New American Painters.
Tervo's production company, Ein Productions, financed the majority of the film and Allegory Films in Tucson also contributed.
