My friend on Jeopardy!
A very good friend of mine, Brian Moore, with whom I went to grad school, and lived in a group house, and since then chat every day, is a 5-day Jeopardy champ from 1993 in the current Tournament to qualify for playing against Ken Jennings next month. He is totally wailing so far, having dominated each of his first two games, and I am psyched.
On to round 3!!

Congrats to him. I've had three friends on Jeopardy, including Myron Meyer, who held the single-day record for a short period of time, and nearly made it myself.

Post from DrunkJeopardyWatcher
"I have just witnessed the second coming of God, and his name is Brian Moore. That was truly an elite performance. I am speechless."

Moné! I somehow missed that the first time! Cutting edge, my friend!
Admiring from afar,

Yeah. R3 & 4 taped in a few days in April. Friend's under a $5M NDA, so unfortunately I have no idea how he did/will do tomorrow. But it looks to me like he got moderately lucky, as far as the draw goes. Coulda been a lot worse (the two Monday games look especially nasty, contestant-wise).

Damn, he tanked in the second half of the game, losing his lead and losing Final Jeopardy. Oh well. $75k's better than nothing!
