Bravo for your album (Common Man). Beautiful concept, writing and playing ... nice recording, too. I enjoyed listening to it.
- Peter Erskine
●
Pete Zimmer is a take-charge drummer and he is ably complemented by alternating pianists Toru Dodo and Rick Germanson, bassist John Sullivan, tenor saxophonist Joel Frahm and trumpeter Michael Rodriguez. The repertoire on this fiery session consists almost entirely of originals by Pete that draw upon the special talents of the group's individualistic members.

This fine CD project is anything but "common."
