Oris Watches Honors Jazz Musicians (+Free Concerts)

Oris hosts free jazz concerts at Tourneau

JUNE 02, 2005 - New York -- In June, Oris Swiss Made Watches will present its "Spirit of Jazz" concert series for the 8th year in a row, with watch store partner Tourneau and WBGO Jazz, 88.3 FM.

The free jazz concerts will be held each Tuesday in June from 12-2 p.m. at the Tourneau Time Machine store on New York's Madison Avenue, which will also house a Frank Sinatra exhibition of rare photos and memorabilia centering around the crooner. Performers will include the Winard Harper Sextet, Geri Allen and her Trio, the Hilton Ruiz Quartet and Vanessa Rubin and her Trio.

In conjunction with its celebration of jazz in June, the Oris Limited Edition Frank Sinatra Power Reserve Timepiece has been created by the brand. Limited to 2,090 pieces worldwide, the watch is the most recent in Oris' series honoring a different jazz legend each year. Forms will be available at the concerts to enter a contest to win one of the exclusive watches.

At the June 28 concert, Frank Sinatra, Jr. will be on hand at the Tourneau store for the Frank Sinatra Treasures book signing, where the contest winner will be announced.
