No, I agree with you about Drudge, I just didn't want you to take my agreement for granted.

Why does Rush look so glassy-eyed in that picture?

Both Drudge and Rush are basically steaming piles of right wing excrement ( with Limbaugh leading by a nose due to his hypocracy on his drug issues ) but for pure venal visciousness, Ann Coulter is hard to beat.

Hi Boston. For the most part I've been doing everything in my power to keep Howard Dean in as DNC chairman (sending fawning fan mail to DNC headquarters and such so that the powers that be will keep Dean where he is). There is absolutely no better present the left could have given the right.
It's the gift that keeps on giving, and should make it even easier for the Republicans to gain even more seats in the House and the Senate in 2006. Hopefully Dean will still be at the helm come 2008. Will the left have to change the rules yet again so that 70 votes are needed to end a filibuster?
Thank you DNC!!!
XOXOXOXO

I'm actually a big fan of Limbaugh.
He's almost always wrong 97.5 % of the time. But he's entertaining. And clever. And when I used to be a regular listener (it's been years now, but there was a time...) I'd call him occasionally. Often during his "liberals only" call-in time. Several times he held me through commercial breaks so I could back him into a corner with his own flabby reasoning. I admire him for that. Plus, he's funny as hell.
The dedicated Christian family values crowd actually scares me. Dobson, Falwell and the like. The Bob Jones U. grads and thier brethren. Limbaugh doesn't.
Laura Schlesinger scares the shit out of me too. She's a vicious scold and truly unable to reason clearly or comprehend a point of view other than her own.

I catch El Slushbo a few times a week driving between VSC campuses, listening for a glimmer of his fabled wit. I'm always disappointed. I realize that humor is subjective, but he strikes me as singularly dimwitted and about as funny as Jan Murray. Then again, I don't get much of our popular culture, so maybe the fault is all mine.

I'm very impressed with that for some reason. I've often stated that Rush has never had an original thought in his life; that he just recycles whatever's on the editorial pages of the MSM and ridicules it. But he *is* funny in his blatantly self-promoting way and understands the medium of radio far more than those pathetic drones on Err America.

Speaking of Limbaugh, is his self description of his "talent on loan from God" copyrighted, as is, apparently, "fair and balanced" copyrighted by Bill O'Reilly??

Naw, I resist any sort of thing as reading any of the tripe I post.
And I would hardly call most of your posts the products of reason. I think much of the time you are just trying to get a rise out of us overly sensitive liberlas. Which you do well, and we oblige all too readily.

Ha ha ha.... The one about how conservatives are so much less "emotional" than liberals is one of my all-time favorites.
I'll just keep this in mind next time you quit the board in a huff.

Yeah Scott, how many times have you done that, tough guy?
For all my goofy posts I never have pulled that childish act.

Yeah your right Jared. Why can't Scott be more of an adult like you, who only makes announcements of quiting the politics board in a huff.
Come on Scott do the adult thing like Sonic and only quit one board at a time.

I didn't quit in a huff. I just know which boards make people look the ugliest. Jeff, being my elder you should be even more embarressed with your behavior than I.
I think many of us on the JC act in ways we would never act even on other threads. I regularly post on a few other forums, and only the JC has brought out such behavior in me.
Jeff, since when is not regretting such behavior a good thing?

Just out of curiosity what behavior should I be embarrased about ?

You may be correct about that Jared, I don't know I haven't read anyones posts on other boards except the few here who also post on Organissimo.
For someone who is concerned about acting like an adult your quick to blame the board for your lack of control over your own emotions.

Regretting bad behavior is a good thing. Accusing someone else of being childish for doing something, when you have done the same thing is what I find objectionable. I'm not even saying that quiting the board is childish I just don't understand how you can get on Scott for doing something when you have done the same exact thing. It appears to me you have one set of standards for yourself and people you agree with politically and another for people who's politics you disagree with.
