West Coast Jazzz Party 2005

Over Labor Day week end, Sept. 1-4, Joe Rothman and John McClure have put together a great array of straight ahead players.

This will be my 6th or 7th year.

The highlight is always the Newporr Harbor cruise on a Hornblower yacht on Sunday morning.

I'm particularly looking forward to seeing Gordon Goodwins Big Phat Band.

I hope we see some of our local JCers.

Sorry I wasn't able to get down your way for the gig....it will happen one day, Clint. I promise you.

Clint, it was good seeing you on the cruise (the only event I made it to).

Highlights for me were Annie Sellick singing "You Go to My Head"; Byron Stripling's trumpet playing; and the guitar duo of Joe Cohn and Ron Eschete.
