I listed this a few weeks back on the old site, but it's a new, avant-jazz related site that deserves to be seen so I guess I'll do it again. Features articles, reviews (live and recorded) , essays, even comics. It's run by two longtime NYC new music hounds Kurt Gottschalk and Phil Zampino.
Just wanted to bring this worthwhile site back up to the fore. I’ve been really impressed with it over the past several months, particularly the edition they did in conjunction with Zorn’s month-long B-Day blowout. Some cool perspectives on various records by some very savvy cats (incl. Mr. B.O.) therein. And though I've never ordered from them, I hear the mail-order service side is top notch too.
