Funny, you crazy guy!

Sidebar: the other day Donna and I were going to lunch when this guy, who had to be pushing 80, pulled in in a Posche convertable. He had a blonde honey hanging on him.

Donna said, "Ah, an old life crisis."

That cover art has appeal to a broad cross-section of potential listeners, from those with tastes in abstract impressionism to folk art and realism.

I like it, Doug!

I'm into honesty, Dennis, since there is no way I can hide the reality!

I'm moments away from ordering your new one--interested in a swap?

Hair is overrated.

In this world of overrated pleasures and underrated treasures I'm glad there is you (Doug).

Great cover. Truly bold and fun. Best of luck with this and all of your endeavours.

Indeed, hair is often overrated. In fact, it's often removed for greater pleasures and treasures. But, I digress.

Wonderful title and album cover, Doug.

You know, the whole "rug" thing just blows my mind. Now it might be because I choose to shave my head, but I don't understand why guys would go the whole "rug" route. what the hell's wrong with being bald?

You gotta know how to wear it, baby!!

And let's be perfectly honest here, Doug is one hell of a handsome dude! I mean honestly, I hope I look that good when I get to his age.

Actually, I wished I looked that good now!!

I like it, Doug. It's very real and obviously the statement of a man comfortable and secure in his own skin. Good for you.

Excellent stuff Doug ... I really dig it.

Much better title than "Comb over to the dark side" too.

Clever. Still don't think it'll get much endcap room at Sam Goody next to Britney and Shakira.

Can't wait to hear it, Doug.

Lol, Henry.

Glad you posted--in the aftermath of Scott's brutal assesment of zoftig frame squeezed seductively (well, at least I'd have to use some duct tape) into a thong, I almost cancelled my membership here. Thank goodness there are still some citizens here with an eye for body art.

By the way, Cookie--thanks for saying such a sweet thing about me! Perhaps you'll enjoy the writing enough that you'd want to try one of the tunes yourself some day.

All these compliments, and you guys haven't even heard it yet...maybe I should quit while I'm ahead!

One neat aspect about the cover art/liner notes is that I secretly wrote and recorded a solo piano piece called "I Choose You, You Choose Me" to end the album and dedicated it to my wife, Glenda. She has no idea that it is on the album, even though she is my right hand at proofing the graphics, reviewing the masters, etc. Every version of the artwork she saw had only 11 songs...and not the 12th!

When the albums show up from the replicator, I'm hoping the surprise will be intact.
