Question advice needed here about outfits offering downloads

Can you folks give me some advice about your experience with these outfits offering "free unlimited downloads". ( I already use itunes and emusic and find them, despite their individual shortcomings, to be reputable. These other outfits neither allow you to determine the extent of their inventory, nor tell you up front what their services cost. Anybody any experience with them????

Maybe you should give a few examples. Sites offering "free unlimited downloads" sound pretty dubious to me. Do they also offer to add several inches to your you-know-what?

Could be.

Could very well be, Boris. I'm just as suspicious about those claims too.

My email is being bombarded with these outfitis. They use a lot of different names, but when you look at their spam, it all looks alike. The names they use are:
all cool tunes
all cool music
best tunes
favorite tunes
tune finder.
They also claim to download movies as well.

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

By the way, my experience with itunes is that they have a pretty good inventory of jazz, but are pretty expensive.emusic is more reasonable, but I'm running out of stuff on their jazz inventory I'm interested in, although they have, here and there, some interesting jazz. I seem to remember that there's another jazz downloader on the internet affiliated with them. Anybody know the name???
Thanks, gang, for your backup in this case.
