Remember that the Jazz in the Square festival is
taking place in Syracuse THIS COMING WEEKEND (July
28-30)! There are some world-acclaimed artists coming
to town and many local and regional acts are featured
on different downtown stages and in local clubs,
restaurants and hotels. Please visit the website at

I also hope you'll consider stopping by Bistro 1060 at
the Genesee Grande Hotel (1060 E. Genesee St.
Syracuse) sometime between 9 and 12 PM on Friday the
29th and/or Saturday the 30th. I'll be singing and
playing with Steve Brown on guitar, Tom Killian on
drums, and on bass Bill Kahl (Fri.) and Mike Solazzo
(Sat.). Come in for a tune or two on your way to or
from checking out other artists. Hang around and relax
a li'l if you like.
Seriously, though: come to Syracuse this weekend if
you can. If you can't, do try to at least send some
positive vibes for good weather and happy (and
preferable LARGE) groups of music fans throughout the
city!
