Can "Page Numbers" Be Added To Search Page Results?

I have been really enjoying surfing the threads here at Jazz Corner since the advent of the new software. I am now able to get through all the topics I follow in a lot less time by using the "page number" buttons. These are a life saver that prevents me from having to open the first page of every thread like the old board used to require me to do.

However, if I use the "Search" function, for instance, if I click the "View New Posts" button, the resulting threads are missing these very useful "page numbers". This forces the person to have to "open" the thread, then click on the last page, just like in the old days.

Can the page numbers be added to the search results??

Later,
Kevin

Kevin--If you look at "View New Posts," you'll see yellow arrows at the beginning and end of each line. If you click on one of the yellow arrows, you'll be taken to the bottom of the last page of the thread, and you won't have to get there manually.

And if you use the Search button itself, you can choose to search by posts rather than threads, in which case you can click on the desired post and be taken there without having to get there manually.

Thanks for that hint. It will help when I visit often. Unfortunately, I am not always able to visit here often enough that the "last post" is the one I want. Sometimes, on particularly hot topics, I return to a thread only to find 2 or 3 pages have been added since my last visit. Getting me to the "last" post won't help in these cases.

I'll look into the Search button's features. It's too bad the "View New Posts" button's function can't be user-modified.

Kevin
