Get well Reggie Workman...
Hope this isn't out of place, as I don't have any real information.
But I just got back from seeing the Archie Shepp/Roswell Rudd quartet at the Iridium, with Reggie Workman and Andrew Cyrille as the rhythm section. About halfway through, Reggie had to leave the stage because of "health problems," and about 10 minutes later some paramedics came in to check on him.
Like I said I don't have any hard facts about what was going on, but it obviously wasn't a good thing.
Anyway, just thought it would be good to send out some prayers or thoughts or whatever they call them in your belief system. A real legend, and I hope everything's okay.

Thanks for posting this. I hope and pray it was just something like heat exhaustion.

If I had to share the bandstand with those guys, I'd need paramedics, too.
Seriously, though, all my best wishes are with Mr. Workman, perhaps the most aptly named musician on the planet.

I saw a friend of Reggie's on Saturday night who told me that Reggie assured him it was nothing major, and that he was doing fine.

That's a relief! When I saw this thread again up at the top of the page, a shiver went down my spine.

Maybe you can change the title of this thread to "Got well, Reggie Workman"
