Martin Sexton : Worth seeing?

I wasn't real aware of him.

but the ad for his upcoming appearance (at a good venue which has excellent bookings) said "THE singer/songwriter of the moment"

so I downloaded some of his stuff (LEGALLY) from e-music and i'm listening to him and he seems real talented buy maybe too precious, but I'm not trusting my initial judgements, for some reason.

Anyway, i'considering going to see him and I'm respectfully soliciting your opinions. Or something like that.
