This week's New Yorker, the Sept. 12 issue, has a fabulous photo of your son's BB w/ a great photo of your son and Queen Esther. It's right in the front section--you can't buy publicity like that! It was taken by Sylvia Plachy--a hot NYC photographer!! Really great!!

I know about the picture but we just got our 9/5 issue. They must use the snaillest of all mail to get it to the Best Coast.

KSJS is spinning J.C. Hopkins and his band right now. It is currently in the features section. I did play a track a couple of weeks ago and it was one of my favorites in my show.

I don't have a subscripton to The New Yorker or I would have already scanned and posted the photos. I tried to find them in the online edition, but no dice.
I may buy a copy tomorrow and share the joy.
