Iraq disintegrating

This is a link to an interesting article.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story...577352,00.html

It starts off saying:
"The Saudi government yesterday warned that Iraq is hurtling towards disintegration and that an election planned for December is unlikely to make any difference. The government said it was delivering this bleak assessment to both the US and British administrations as a matter of urgency."
It goes on to warn that this could trigger more unrest in the Middle East, involving Turkey vs the Kurds, Iran growing stronger and causing trouble for Saudi Arabia, etc.
Even if you ignore the reasons for getting into the war, it seems that Bush and his cronies are really making a mess of things, and that mess is going to extend beyond Iraq's borders.

I'm surprised nobody responded to this. I saw it first thing this morning and was thinking others might have interesting commentary about it.

"The impression is gradually going toward disintegration. There seems to be no dynamic now that is pulling the country together. All the dynamics there are pushing the people away from each other." says Prince Saud al-Faisal.

It's just so depressing. Yeah, I honestly don't see how this is going to have a happy ending.
