Bolton helps spike UN report on Darfur atrocities

Yes, that's right... W.'s man in the UN joined those shining beacons of human rights--China, Algeria, and Russia--in suppressing a UN report on atrocities in Darfur:

W.'s man Bolton at the UN

The Bush presidency... too bad the rest of the world has to suffer as well for our sorry 51% mistake.

And suffering we are. It angers me since I have read on how the women and children in the Sudan are being mistreated.

My niece, who is going to school in Germany, has to hide her identity. She has told me that there is a lot of anti US sentiment there. She lies to people by telling the people who she meets that she is Canadian.

Not uncommon, Kedoane. There is a cottage industry that has grown here for maple leaf patches that many American college students and other young people attach to their backpacks when they travel abroad. Sad.

I'm surprised that there isn't more talk here about the potential veto of the torture bill. Admittedly I don't know a lot about this, but on the surface I'm not seeing how the president retain any credibility in killing this bill.
